This Medical Assistant program offers training for students interested in clinical medical assisting or administrative medical assisting. Clinical medical assistants assist doctors and patients in physicians' back offices, clinics, and outpatient departments of hospitals. Medical assistants also are employed in laboratories or other health service areas.
This medical assistant program can usually be completed within 12 months. At the end of the medical assistant program it is recommended that medical assistant students take the National Certified Medical Assistant exam.
